Marcus Gillezeau
Producer Marcus Gillezeau [Jillezo] is best known for producing high profile projects for film, TV and digital. Specialising in digital content production and delivery across all platforms, he has built a reputation for being at the forefront of innovative production and distribution. Along with his film and TV credits, he has overseen the development and production of games, websites, social media campaigns and web series.
Marcus has won some of the screen industry’s most prestigious awards including the Australian Academy of Cinema Television Arts Award, Best Feature Documentary for STORM SURFERS 3D. In 2009 he won the International Digital Emmy® Award and the Australian Directors Guild Award for Best Digital Drama for SCORCHED. He was honored by Screen Producers Australia for Best New Media and Interactive Producer of the Year twice.
He has published two books and over 50 articles for the screen industry and is invited to speak at conferences and run workshops for film schools and universities both in Australia and internationally.
He has served on screen industry boards for over 15 years, including for Metro Screen, Television Sydney (Ch31) and Screen Producers Australia.
As a passionate sailor he seems to be drawn to projects involving boats and the sea. That is, when he’s not being asked to chase bushfires, giant waves, wrestle with complex social issues, go on dangerous adventures or chronicle a compelling biography.
Ellenor Cox
Ellenor has spent 20+ years as an Emmy and AACTA award winning film producer and co-founder of independent production company Firelight Productions. Together with Marcus, she has produced prime time television to all the major networks including ABC, SBS, ZDF, Nine Network, Discovery Channel and National Geographic and has produced more than 100 hours of film and television that has screened around the world.
She has served on the boards of Marie Stopes International, Darlinghurst Theatre and the Sydney Digital Initiative.
Recently she has moved in to consulting and executive coaching for companies and individuals across the media, entertainment and arts sector. Ellenor’s particular passion is helping her clients gain clarity and insight around their purpose and vision in order to build motivation and self-confidence.
Now with a Masters in Coaching, Ellenor uses values and purpose driven methodologies to work with individuals and companies on authentic leadership and management up-skilling, career progression strategies, resilience building and communication mastery.
